About Us
Our history
Based on personal experience in corporate life and years of talking to leaders along the Front Range, Annette saw the need for a community of like-minded Catholic business leaders. After meeting Theresa in 2023, and with a shared vision of building that community, we launched Catholic Business Leaders of Northern Colorado in January 2024.
We engaged this new community in deciding who we should be and what we should do. Direction from the Holy Spirit and facilitated discussions over several months led to the scriptural references, mission statements, and the focus of events that you find on our home page.
Join us in our mission to build a culture of faithful Catholic business leadership in Northern Colorado. We look forward to welcoming you at a future event.

Who We Are
Theresa Branney
Theresa’s corporate career in the energy industry of over thirty years allowed her to participate in the entire supply chain ranging from production to end user in physical and financial products as well as project development for natural gas storage and liquified natural gas.
She has always had the desire to seek the truth of her Catholic faith which led her to complete the four-year Lay Division Biblical School at Saint John Vianney in 2021. After retirement, she served as the Capital Campaign Director, phase one, for Saint John Paul II High School in Windsor Colorado. Theresa is honored to be a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Catholic Foundation.
She has been married to her loving husband John for over thirty years. They have been blessed with a son and four beautiful grandchildren. They are active parishioners at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton since moving back to Colorado. John and Theresa reside in the foothills of Northern Colorado along with their three German Shepherds, who rule the roost.
Annette Leazer
Annette has been blessed with a fulfilling career that matched her fascination with business to her Finance profession leading business organizations and transformational projects in several companies. She serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for St. John Paul II, Northern Colorado's Catholic High School.
A Colorado native, Annette was married in 1985 to Tom, her high school sweetheart, and together they gratefully work, farm, explore mountain and desert trails, and travel on epic road trips. She is an active member of Our Lady of the Valley parish, is consecrated to the Holy Eucharist, encouraged through Adoration, and her go-to prayer is the Rosary. Annette enjoys spending time with family, new and long-time friends, taking long walks, reading inspirational books, writing her blog, and building community, especially Catholic Business Leaders!
